Decorative Arts
My interest in the decorative arts began when a Boston neighbor taught me the ancient Persian art of marbelizing using a feather.
I have worked in multiple disciplines: glazing, gilding, trompe l'oeil, wallpapers, flower painting, stained floors, eglomise and murals.
My work has taken me to many locations from Long Island to Maui, from the White House during apprenticeship to Robert Jackson to the Metropolitan Museum. I have been privileged to work in many of the finest private residences with premier decorators.
My work follows traditional artisan's methods which currently include applications in a modernist manner.
