Every year hundreds of onlookers enjoy the annual Houston Art Car Parade with entries from all over the country. My first Art Car entry to the Parade was the Feather Car created with Sasha Sumner.

My second entry, an answer to 

the extreme macho culture of 

the parade was my screw car.

With the help of all of my friends

in New York and my mechanic Ray Aponte I made a pattern of

my car, filled the pieces with screws ( so many a flatbed delivered them to me ) and upholstered the pieces onto

the car. Best memory: driving

through Houston in this very,

very heavy car !
